Meet The Financial Mentoring Team
We’re so pleased to meet you and we’d love to introduce you to our friendly team of financial mentoring experts. Just so you know; all Financial Mentors go through an intensive 12 module training programme to become mentors; once that is completed, they have at least 12 months supervision before becoming fully qualified.
This is great news for you, because you can trust that we are well versed in assisting you reach your personal financial goals. We literally have the skills so you can pay your bills.
Meet Heather
Coordinator/Financial Mentor
Hi, I’m Heather and I have been a fully qualified Financial Mentor since 2010 and a Debt Repayment Order Supervisor since 2015. It’s fair to say I have a wide range of experience in helping you reach your own unique goals and financial outcomes. I’m also a qualified accountant and have spent 18 years as an auditor, as well as many years in senior finance positions in the public sector.
Favourite part of being a Financial Mentor?
The way people react when they can see light at the end of the tunnel and understand what can be achieved with good budget planning and a debt repayment plan. It really boosts personal morale and confidence so it’s hugely rewarding.
Meet John
Financial Mentor
Hi there, I’m John and I’m pleased to let you know my particular strengths lie in negotiation and advocacy with creditors. With this as my main focus it allows me to assist people in the art of effective communication and planning when it comes to debt management and repayment. I see my clients in and around Levin and Ōtaki.

Meet Lorna
Financial Mentor
When you need help sourcing affordable loans to help you with your debt management and payment plans, then I would love to help you out with that. I’m based in Levin and have four years experience as a Financial Mentor coaching and supporting others on their financial journey.
Favourite part?
Most of the time people aren’t aware of other options when it comes to affordable loans so I take great pleasure in sharing that information and knowledge when it is really needed the most.

Financial Mentor
Hi, I’m Vivienne and I have five years experience as a Financial Mentor. Based in Ōtaki I also help clients in Levin over the phone. As an all rounder in the mentoring capacity, my strengths lie in everything from budget planning and strategy right through to debt management to help people clear their debt quicker and easier.

We know that money problems cause a huge amount of stress. By helping others with their finances the stress is replaced with relief and a sense of empowerment. It doesn’t get much better than that.

I’ve recently qualified as a Financial Mentor and I’m also based in Levin. I have loved the training programme and now I am in the supervision period. I have hit the ground running helping others beat their financial woes. I’m keen to help as many people get back on track with their finances with a clear roadmap in one hand and my support and guidance in the other.
